Workshop Fiddle-Spaß: orchestral playing workshop for kids.

Workshop Fiddle-Spaß is a string workshop for children who can play confidently in first position. Run by the Leo-Borchard-Musikschule Steglitz-Zehlendorf, it offers an entry into orchestral playing: together with other violin, viola, cello and double bass students, the children rehearse a short programme over a weekend and present it to their parents at the end. They are taught by experienced teachers from the music school, with the individual parts prepared in advance in instrumental lessons. Many former participants look back fondly on these rehearsal phases.
