Concerts
Von Mäusen und Sonnenstrahlen: concert by a youth orchestra.
About
A concert by the Freie Jugendorchesterschule Berlin at the Klangwerkstatt Berlin festival for new music. Since its founding in 2011, the orchestra school, which playfully introduces even the youngest to making music together, has been a regular guest at the festival. Directed by Martina Feldmann, Jobst Liebrecht and others, the young musicians present a programme about the sun, growth and sound in full orchestra and smaller ensembles, featuring Konrad Fichtner's music theatre piece 'Frederick' based on Leo Lionni's children's book, works by Jobst Liebrecht, Andreas Frey and Paul Leenhouts, and results of a composition workshop.
