About
WUNDERWORTE is a lyrical-musical matinee at the Blattgold bookshop in Berlin. The poet Achim Nowak reads his own poems, accompanied by the guitarist Jens Jawer, with Blattgold staff member Anna Toelke also involved in the series. Each edition is devoted to a particular theme – such as night, silence, sea, time or courage – and approaches it sometimes harmoniously, sometimes uncomfortably. After the readings, the audience and the participants talk about the poems presented and exchange thoughts with each other on an equal footing.
