A short guided tour through the Mendelssohn-Remise, offering newcomers a first insight into the exhibition in just 60 museum minutes. It takes place on the second weekend of the month, this time accompanied by Dorothee Nolte. Under the title „Zum Thee bei den Mendelssohns“, it centres on a photo of the tea house that architect Johann Cludius von Lasaulx built for the Mendelssohn family on their estate in Horchheim near Koblenz. It shows the two Mendelssohn brothers with their wives: the Jewish banker Alexander with Marianne and the baptised geography professor Georg Benjamin with Rosa.
