About
An Act of Remembrance service held outside around the War Memorial, with the church open for prayers afterwards. It is held by the Parish of Hornchurch at St Andrews Church and centres on a prayer of commemoration for the fallen. The prayer asks that all who suffered during war, those who served and risked their lives for comrades, and those who mourned or worked for peace be held in remembrance. It closes with a plea for peace in our time.
