Age of Deception: Cybersecurity as Secret Statecraft
King's College London, Strand Campus, Strand, WC2R 2LS London, Covent Garden
About
A seminar on cybersecurity as a form of secret statecraft, held at King's College London's Strand Campus. Jon Lindsay of the Georgia Institute of Technology presents his book Age of Deception, arguing that trust in cyberspace enables espionage and subversion and that success in such secret statecraft depends on political context more than technology. The event is chaired by Sir David Omand, a Visiting Professor at King's who formerly directed GCHQ.
