An off-the-record briefing for Asia House members on opposition economic and business policy. Mark Garnier OBE MP, the UK Shadow Economic Secretary (Treasury) and Shadow Minister (Business, Innovation, Science and Trade), and a former trade minister in the Theresa May Government, will outline what a Conservative government's economic and trade policy may look like. He will discuss inward investment, the balance between economic growth and economic security, and the implications of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
