About

Almshouse 14 Tours are guided tours of the Museum of the Home's restored 18th-century almshouse dwellings, showing what it was like to live in Hackney 200 years ago. The interactive walk through Almshouse 14 reveals how residents kept warm, slept, ate and did their washing centuries ago. The tours are free drop-ins with an optional donation, last 45 minutes and start promptly, with places reserved at the Welcome Desk on arrival. Private group bookings are available by arrangement for groups larger than six people.
