About
An Evening of Soul with Ella Thompson (Full Live Band) is a soul concert at The Jazz Cafe. Ella Thompson, one of Australia's most exciting soul artists, blends timeless soul with a distinctly modern voice. Backed by her full live band, she performs songs from her new album Triumph & Sadness, released on UK label Mr Bongo and recorded live to tape with Melbourne musicians, with Mr Bongo DJs also on the line-up. The evening suits fans of Cleo Sol, Charlotte Day Wilson and Kadhja Bonet.
