About

An artist talk lasting about an hour, held in the Members Bar at Battersea Arts Centre, a venue in south-west London. It brings together two trailblazing performance artists, Marisa Carnesky and Jo Bannon, who discuss their respective practices and how each has explored magic within them. With questions from UNREAL curators Tom Cassani and Augusto Corrieri, the conversation touches on covert choreographies, hidden bodies, high rituals and Show Women. It forms a thoughtful discussion on performance and magic, part of the UNREAL festival at the venue.
