About
Black Market Knees-Up is an immersive afternoon activity in a dimly-lit Underground Station turned secret cocktail bar, styled around 1940s black market antics and underhand gambling. It is run by the Cahoots Scoundrels, a mob of ragtag delinquents and 'big house escapees', led by a show master freshly escaped from prison who guides guests through the events. Guests enjoy a welcome drink, cocktails disguised as 'milk' or 'tea' or an 'Under the Counter' range including 'Arsenic' and 'Cyanide', plus a sandwich, skinny chips and a brownie, with games, live entertainment and an interactive 1940s pub-style quiz. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available on request, and the event is strictly for over 21s.
