About

Story and Rhymetime sessions bring stories, songs, rhymes and rhythm to young children and their families at the library. They are run as free Book Trust sessions, where children share stories, songs and rhymes in a friendly, inclusive space that gives them a flying start in learning to read. A typical session mixes action rhymes, dancing, props and sensory play, sign language and songs in various languages, crafts and play time, and also offers parents and carers a chance to meet and make new friends.
