About

Book Trust Story and Rhymetime sessions are free, fun-filled library sessions of songs, rhymes and stories for babies and toddlers aged 0–5 with their parents or carers. They are run by Brent libraries as Bookstart Rhymetimes, lasting about 20–30 minutes in a safe, supportive space. Rhymes help young children develop communication and literacy skills such as repetition, rhythm and the sounds of words, building a strong foundation for reading. The sessions are also a chance to connect with other families.
