Brain Injury Training on living with brain injury.

Brain Injury Training is a training session that deepens understanding of the long-term effects of brain injury and helps develop clinical practice in a holistic way. It is designed and delivered by people living with acquired brain injury alongside Headway London clinicians, and developed with award-winning filmmaker Kit Vincent, whose documentary The Magic of Chaos was made with the Headway London community. Placing lived experience at the centre of learning, it explores through discussion, reflection and first-hand accounts the far-reaching impact of brain injury beyond diagnosis, rehabilitation and treatment, covering modules such as identity, cognition, communication, family, relationships and sex, and work, vocation and education. It is ideal for healthcare professionals, therapists, psychologists, commissioners, support workers, social care practitioners and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the lived realities of brain injury.
