About
Ballet Improvers with Fukiko Takase is a drop-in ballet class for dancers who already have a foundation in classical ballet. Led by Fukiko Takase and accompanied by pianist Graeme Thewlis, the class focuses on the relationship between music and dance. It uses rhythm and accent to build movement vocabulary, enhance muscle control and performance quality, and work on longer, more complex sequences. The session is described as a light-hearted and enjoyable experience that leaves participants feeling accomplished and inspired.
