Byzantium: Neil Jordan's gothic vampire horror film.

Byzantium is a gothic horror-fantasy about Clara and Eleanor Webb, the only female vampires alive, who have been hunted for two centuries. A mother who feeds on human blood and her daughter who despises what she is, they seek refuge in a run-down coastal hotel, but their past and secrets catch up with them. It is directed by Neil Jordan, from the director of Interview with the Vampire, and stars Saoirse Ronan, Gemma Arterton and Sam Riley. The screening is part of MANEATERS, a season exploring the female supernatural on screen, presented with the National Film and Television School's Film Studies, Programming and Curation MA.
