Careers Day 2026

Careers Day 2026 is a day of career opportunities for geoscience students, with talks, networking, CV drop-in sessions and interview practice. It is run by the Geological Society at its headquarters at Burlington House, with the option to attend virtually. The programme features presentations from early career industry professionals on pathways in sectors such as the Energy Transition and Geohazards, Geoengineering & Georesilience, plus a session on how employers view recruitment. Attendees can also have their CV reviewed by a geoscientist and practice interview questions in bookable slots.
