About

A free, in-person day of practical training in London on how to have organising conversations that recruit others to join a union. It is run by the Trades Union Congress (TUC) for its London, East and South East region and teaches key organising techniques through role play, before participants put them into practice in live union recruitment campaigns, starting with a Unite campaign at Canary Wharf. Attendees will be supported by experienced union organisers to talk with workers and contribute to a real organising drive, gaining hands-on campaign experience. It is open only to young workers who are members of TUC affiliated unions and based in London, the East or South East of England.
