About
Code Name: Santa Fe Tour – Sold Out !! is a guided tour of the historic house at Hall Place and Gardens, led by the venue's volunteering team. Visitors learn how the rooms were used over 70 years ago for top-secret work as part of Operation Ultra, where American soldiers stationed at Hall Place under the code name Santa Fe intercepted encoded German messages. After the tour there is time to see an exhibition of GI veterans' memories and declassified files showing how their round-the-clock, secret work helped defeat the Nazis. The tour suits anyone interested in wartime history, especially the Second World War and Bletchley Park.
