Cornwallis Cloth: Championing untold stories of WW2 in the Caribbean
Old Royal Naval College Visitor Centre, King William Walk, East Greenwich
Free (Booking Required)
About
An evening at the Visitor Centre with a viewing of the Cornwallis Cloth exhibition and film installation, followed by a panel discussion. Sweet Patootee Arts and the Old Royal Naval College Interpretation Team explore how oral testimony and creative research can break through archival silence to restore long silenced histories of British Caribbean lives during the Second World War. From 6pm to 7.30pm visitors can view the exhibition, with the talk and Q&A running from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Admission is free, though booking is required.
