A Requiem Eucharist held around All Souls' Day at which the congregation remembers and gives thanks for those who have died in recent years. St Mary Abbots holds the service each year; its professional choir sings movements from Mozart's Requiem, the names of the recently departed and those remembered in the parish community are read aloud, and those present are invited to light individual candles in memory of loved ones. Names can be submitted in advance on a form at the church doors or by email, and donations towards the musicians and singers may be made in memory of a particular person, whose name appears in a printed 'In Memoriam' list. No reservation or tickets are needed.
