Death and Dying: Celebration of Life through Reflection on Death
Kagyu Samye Dzong London, Spa Road 15, Old Kent Road
About
Death and Dying: Celebration of Life through Reflection on Death is a day of talks and workshops exploring death and dying, with an exhibition room, a bereavement counsellor available, and light offerings and prayers for the deceased. It is organised by the Kagyu Samye Dzong London (KSDL) Bardo Group as their annual event, and is a place to share ideas, practical advice, and stories on death. Speakers include Lama Zangmo on preparing for our own death, Charlie Morley on the Bardo Group's support for the dying and their families, funeral directors from Poppy's, solicitors on leaving a will, Dr Liam Gabb on palliative care and dying with dementia, and grief investigator Lizzie Pickering on how we enfold grief into our lives. All are welcome and there is no need to book in advance.
