Drink and Draw: Drawn to the Water
Leighton House
£15
About
A relaxed drink-and-draw life drawing session inspired by Leighton's celebrated bathing compositions 'Venus Disrobing for the Bath', 'The Bath of Psyche' and 'A Bather'. It is run by 2B Or Not 2B Collective, a POC-run London life drawing group that aims to make life drawing accessible to all and uplifting for marginalised bodies. A life model recreates the elegant poses, drapery and play of body and fabric from the paintings, in the very house where Leighton lived and painted. The tutored class welcomes all levels, with drawing boards, materials and paper provided, and participants must be over 18.
