About

Life Drawing (Autumn) is a weekly twelve-week life drawing class running on Wednesday mornings, open to beginners and those with experience. It is taught by Emily Burton, an illustrator and drawer with a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Drawing and nearly twenty years of teaching. Working from a range of life models with different body types, in both long and short poses, participants develop observational skills, gestural drawing and accurate proportions. Sessions take place at easels, and attendees bring their own materials such as pencils, charcoal and cartridge paper.
