About
An electronic music open mic night called EMOM, held on the first Wednesday of the month, with a DJ set by Robin Vincent. Electronic musicians can pre-book a 10–20 minute slot or arrive at 6:30pm with minimal setup, with no acoustic guitars unless they generate electronic soundscapes. It is hosted by Laurie Black, a synth musician described as a "lovechild of Victoria Wood and Gary Numan", who has toured with her synth-history show Deadly Synths and released the 2026 album Noisebleed. A curated headline slot as part of 'Bad Luck Synth Club' is to be announced.
