About
Family Shakespeare: Pyramus & Thisbe - November is an interactive theatre show for children and grown-ups at The Cockpit Theatre. Produced and presented by The Cockpit in partnership with Hullabaloo, it features the Rude Mechanicals, who have been asked to perform a play at the Duke's wedding but have forgotten to write it. Recalling the tragic love story of Pyramus and Thisbe from A Midsummer Night's Dream, the audience helps finish the play by creating characters, songs, sound effects and dance moves. Each performance blends Shakespeare's original text with the audience's fresh ideas, so no two shows are the same.
