About

Gelli Printing is a hands-on workshop in experimental printmaking at the Fashion and Textile Museum. It is led by Jane Parker, a freelance print designer with over 30 years' experience in the fashion industry who studied textile design and teaches creative workshops at the museum. Participants learn the basics of using a gelli plate to build layered textures and colours, turning everyday materials such as bubble wrap, lace and leaves into tools for intricate patterns. They leave with a vibrant collection of experimental papers for sketchbooks, collage or standalone art prints, and no experience is needed.
