girli is a live music show by the London artist girli (Milly Toomey), with Ellie Dixon also on the bill, held at Village Underground in Shoreditch. It marks the launch of her third album era, it's just my opinion, a sharp alt-pop record that returns to her musical roots and channels the energy of indie sleaze and her teenage nights in Camden and Shoreditch. She is known for fearless, candid songwriting on identity, sexuality, mental health and self-expression, and for speaking openly on feminism, queer and trans rights, immigrant rights and the rise of the far right. After early industry setbacks she rebuilt her career independently, aiming to make people feel seen and less alone through radical honesty in her music.
