About

Gidiki are a Greek folk band at the forefront of the folk revival scene in Greece, whose songs "Αφούσης" and "Το Γλέντι" were viral hits in 2024 and 2025. Their three albums combine keeping tradition alive while dipping into progressive folk, sounding like Dead Can Dance if Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry were from the Greek isles. Their shows feature songs from all over Greece, from Crete and the Aegean islands to Epirus and Macedonia, played on lute, violin, percussion, clarinet and Greek bagpipes. Expect to dance, sing and let the music take you to the eternal sunshine that is Greece.
