An evening of experimental and improvised music at The Horse Hospital, with three sets: Zheng Hao & Caius Williams, Minimum Wage Immanence Unit, and Theodora Laird & Conal Blake. It is presented by GRAIN, a concert series and archiving project for experimental and improvised music programmed and produced by Caius Williams and Theodora Laird. Zheng Hao uses electronics and electro-acoustic instruments for improvisation, while Williams plays double bass, guitar and bass guitar. Minimum Wage Immanence Unit is a Manchester trio of Adam Fairhall, David Birchall and Michael Perrett improvising music drawing on English folk song, European spectralism and free drone excursions, and Laird is a vocalist and multidisciplinary artist while Blake is a Glasgow musician using electronics and percussion.
