About
An improvised music concert at the Vortex Jazz Club, a mixed seated and standing venue on Gillett Square, with one set of music. The line-up is a brand new quartet of highly regarded British and European improvisors: Colin Webster on alto saxophone, Matthew Grigg on guitar, Caius Williams on double bass and Fabian Neubauer on drum kit. Webster and Williams are two of London's most prolific improvisors, working with many key figures in experimental music, while Grigg is an exciting guitarist from Bristol creating his own language and style, and Neubauer, a Wuppertal-based multi-instrumentalist, combines electronics and acoustic drums.
