About
Grooves for the Dancefloor is a live club night headlined by Marla Kether performing with her full six-piece live band, with support from Zamar-Eden. London-born bassist, producer and DJ Marla Kether blends jazz, funk, soul, UK funky and Brazilian influences into a genre-blurring groove that moves between the dancefloor and the pocket. Fresh from her new EP Luso, released via Strut Records with collaborators including Mez, Reek0, Sofia Grant and Brazilian duo Margaridas, she follows acclaimed work with Little Simz, Loyle Carner, Yazmin Lacey and Obongjayar. The night promises laid-back grooves and dancefloor-ready rhythms for fans of Ezra Collective, Nubyian Twist and Kokoroko.
