Guided Fungi Walk with Rights for Weeds

Guided Fungi Walk with Rights for Weeds is a guided walk through the Horniman Gardens searching for wild fungi, identifying them and discussing their ecology. It is held at the Horniman Museum and Gardens and is perfect for adults. At a relaxed pace with room for chatting and note-taking, it covers why fungi matter, fungal storytelling and folklore, medicinal mushrooms, where to look for fungi, how to forage edible wild mushrooms sustainably, and the relationship between foraging and land politics. The walk ends at the Horniman Pavilion, where the group makes something edible to eat and enjoy together.
