Wild Harrow – Fungi Field Recorder Day

Wild Harrow – Fungi Field Recorder Day is a day of learning about, finding, identifying and recording fungi at Stanmore Common. It is organized by The Biological Recording Company, with fungi specialist Mark Spencer leading the day and providing guidance throughout. Naturalists of all levels, from total beginner to expert, are encouraged to attend, share experiences with peers and help one another build confidence in biological recording. The records of which fungi species are present give essential data on their distribution and ecology and help site managers protect rare and valuable species.
