About
Halloween Warehouse Dance is a night of music and dancing at UNIT/08. It is put on by Jumbi, who for Halloween draw on the spirit of the Moko Jumbie, a figure they describe as mischievous, otherworldly and always in motion. Percussion and rhythm lead the night, moving from Singeli's trance states to Batida's ritual pulse and through sounds of the Black diaspora, exploring the spaces between rhythm, spirit and movement. The night invites people to come ready to dance and for the unexpected.
