About

A hands-on drop-in activity at the museum in the Arms and Armour galleries, exploring why armour was painted, etched and decorated, with the chance to try on real and replica armour. It is run by The Wallace Collection with its Hands on Armour volunteers, showing that showing off was just as important as protection and introducing the decorative styles on display. Places are limited and allocated first-come, first-served on the day; it is for ages 5 and up, and children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
