About

hKippers in Concert is a live music evening at the Irish Cultural Centre. The hKippers are a nine-piece band formed 38 years ago in Stoke Newington by Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck, Pogues' drummer Andrew Ranken and actor Paul Bradley. Their original songs carry surreal lyrics and fine musicianship, a sound The Guardian called 'Music At The fun end of the Cutting edge' and they themselves call Stupid World Music. The Guardian says: 'Don't be fooled by the wackiness, these musicians are top notch and live are a pure delight.'
