About

A double-bill concert of contemporary folk and traditional music at the Irish Cultural Centre, pairing two acts rooted in tradition yet shaped by modern influences. The first is Peter Street, an exciting new force in traditional Irish music blending youthful energy with fresh creativity, from lively reels to soulful ballads. The second unites Archie Moss, a BBC award-winning accordion player, multi-instrumentalist Toby Shaer, and award-winning guitarist and singer Jack Warnock, who together draw on traditions from the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. Since first meeting in 2019, the trio have developed a distinctive voice combining technical brilliance with thoughtful, sensitive arrangements.
