About

Isle ‘Ave A Shanty bring a lively evening of sea shanties and folk harmony aboard The Golden Hinde, a historic Tudor galleon. The six-piece a cappella group from the landlocked Isle of Ely perform traditional maritime songs, folk-inspired arrangements and their own original material, inviting audiences to sing and clap along. After a sold-out performance on the ship in 2022, the group — ‘Able Seaman’ Andrew Newton, Lee ‘Kiss Me Harvey’, ‘Long John’ Tony Calladine, ‘Sea Sick’ Stuart Green, Elliott ‘Sea’ Spray and ‘Captain’ Kevin King — return for a night of music, laughter and storytelling.
