Trio Manouche & Capitano Cartel: Gypsy jazz and swing.

A special double-bill jazz evening at The George IV in Chiswick, London. Trio Manouche, a Gypsy jazz trio led by Harris on guitar and vocals with guitarist Giulio Romano and bassist Marcus Penrose, open with swing classics and reworked Django Reinhardt pieces alongside ambient arrangements of greats such as Nat King Cole. The second half brings the Capitano Cartel (Versione Fantastico), hosted by Simon Harris on vocals and trumpet with Giulio Romano, Marcus Penrose, rhythm guitarist Dave Kelbie and drummer Jack Bebington, playing new original compositions blending jazz, blues, country and Latin. The night closes with all the musicians joining for a grand finale of swing classics in their own singular style.
