About
Jeff Slate And Friends play an album launch at The Dublin Castle, featuring members of Paul Weller's band. Jeff Slate has been about the riffs since his bands the Mindless Thinkers and The Badge, and his solo work has included collaborations with Pete Townshend, Roger McGuinn, Sheryl Crow, Jeff Tweedy and Margo Price. His most recent album, The Last Day of Summer, featured guest turns from rock royalty and was called "an album of classy, Greenwich Village scented folk and soul" by Mojo. He has also written a book on Roy Orbison and a memoir with Earl Slick, liner notes for the Beatles, the Stones, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix, and is a guest "rock 'n' roll expert" for Sirius XM who has interviewed Bob Dylan.
