About

A live music evening with Johnny Campbell, a solo performer who plays folk songs and stories. He has sung with punk bands and with Three Sheets T' Wind across the UK and the Netherlands, and plays guitar, tin whistle, mandolin, tenor banjo and fiddle. His repertoire is mostly original, from Sean-Nos style songs to Norwegian ballads and traditional numbers played in a breakneck bluegrass-punk manner. His 2020 album From Hull & Halifax & Hell took him to the Faroe Islands, where he recorded a live album on the island of Nolsoy.
