About
Karate Man – A Live-Action Video Game is a nostalgic choose-your-own-adventure comedy where the audience plays the show like an actual video game. It is made by Beak Comedy and stars co-directors Bruno Dubosarsky as Karate Man and Jacob Henegan as Ross Roundkick, with Maddie Houlbrook-Walk, Alexander Richmond and Alexandra Smith. Every button press on a real video game controller makes Karate Man obey exactly that command, and the hero who once saved Karatetown must now face his greatest foe: domestic life. The show won Best Interactive at Adelaide Fringe 2025 and runs about 60 minutes, recommended for ages 15+.
