About

Out of the Box is a multi-award-winning family show offering an hour of joyful chaos, jaw-dropping skill and irresistible fun, fresh from five-star success at the Edinburgh Fringe and named Best Family Show at Brighton Fringe. Its creator, Darryl J Carrington, draws on over 20 years of circus and clowning experience to transform everyday objects into extraordinary adventures, with a toothbrush starring in a balancing act, a string sparking a heist and a tea party landing on someone's head. His silent comedy blends world-class juggling, inventive physical theatre and heartwarming audience interaction, with humour that transcends age and language, captivating children, parents and grandparents alike. Critics have praised it as 'chaotic and hugely enjoyable' (London Theatre1, five stars) and 'utterly absorbing, charming and great fun' with 'sublime' crowd control (The Scotsman, four stars).
