About
Knit a poppy for Remembrance is a crafting event where knitters and crocheters make their own poppies for Remembrance Day. It is an annual event organised by the Royal British Legion, running in September and October, inviting beginner and advanced crafters to support its work for the Armed Forces community. Sign up to receive a free knitting or crochet pattern, with an optional donation, and send your finished poppy back by 23rd October to have it displayed at London Poppy Day remembrance displays. Last year over 9,000 crafters across the UK took part, making thousands of handmade poppies.
