La Gradiva: French teens on a field trip to Pompeii.

La Gradiva is a feature film screening on a cinema screen. Director Marine Atlan follows a pack of rowdy French teenagers on a school field trip to Pompeii, where sunshine, desire, passion, angst and class tensions unfold against the ruins and beauty of the ancient past. As the journey progresses, pressures build between the students as they confront the hidden economic realities structuring their social lives. The film captures the fleeting nature of adolescence and summer, and was nominated for the Golden Camera and the Queer Palm at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
