Together: Nicolás Pereda's film of a couple in Mexico City.

Together is a film screening about a young couple in Mexico City whose cramped apartment is disturbed when the man's cousin moves in, and whose household starts falling apart after their dog disappears and the tap begins to run only boiling water. It is directed by Nicolás Pereda and stars his repertory collaborators from the theatre troupe Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol. The film follows the disaffected drift of the trio and the power dynamics that emerge between them, before opening out onto the pastoral toward a sharp but tender vision of the disorientation of youth and the impulse to search for something new together.
