About
Green Note presents Laura Cortese, a solo show by the American folk musician and fiddler, at The Water Rats near King's Cross. Now more than twenty years into her career and based in Ghent, Belgium, she performs original American folk songs from a new solo album coming out on Compass Records in 2026. Alone on stage, she turns the audience into her band, with stamping, clapping and occasional singalongs. She performs internationally, exploring and exalting in her passion for American roots music.
