About
Liza Sings Streisand is a concert evening in which Liza Pulman, praised as having one of the finest voices in British theatre, performs the songs Barbra Streisand made famous. Pulman, a trained singer and one third of Fascinating Aïda, presents it as a celebration rather than an impersonation, with no wig and no act. With musical director Joseph Atkins and her six-piece band she rebuilds numbers such as The Way We Were, Evergreen, People, Second Hand Rose and You Don't Bring Me Flowers into something of her own. Around the songs she tells the story of Streisand's life and her own, a show that has sold out London venues and earned five-star reviews.
