About

A concert evening devoted to the songs of Billie Holiday, performed in a trio setting. Actress and vocalist Anna Sroka-Hryń sings the repertoire of the jazz legend, accompanied by pianist Stanisław Pańta and double bassist Paweł Pańta. A key part of the project are Polish translations of the songs by Wiesława Sujkowska, giving familiar numbers a fresh form for a Polish-speaking audience. The programme includes songs such as 'Lady Sings the Blues' and 'God Bless the Child'.
